   You all usually contact me. I’m a teaching artist who specializes in bringing drama and dance into classrooms!! I have presented for you in the past, and would love to do so again.

   Tom,
   I wrote comments on the VAAE blog back on July 5th, recommending Jeremy Cohn as a contributor. On his web site http://www.thisworldmusic.com you will hear and see all you need to know about Jeremy and what he does. His work in true musical artistry but also curriculum driven and could be adapted and applied to nearly every grade level. Please consider Jeremy for your spring conference. I would be glad to answer any questions….Thank you.

   I’ve just been on the job for a month as the new Executive Director of VAAE. We have not yet scheduled a conference, and are talking as an organization about whether we should be re-thinking how we address the goal of sharing resources and providing professional development. We’re looking at how many districts are keeping professional development as an internal function, thus limiting resources (and attendance) for a conference such as ours. We are wondering if there might be other effective ways to provide what we’ve done in the past through the conference.
